1) After Result, within 3-4 months u will go for training on availability of batch in ur nearest RTTC i.e. REGIONAL TELECOM TRAINING CENTRE. But before that u have to clear documents verification, Medical tests(that are done at your district health centre), and mainly police verification.some ssas sends for training before police verification as it takes time sometime...but it all depends on ssa.Medical tests are very easy and not done by BSNL.
2)Training is of 10 weeks. They takes exams in that training as per the subjects they are teaching.subjects are related with bsnl and telecom technology.The tests are so easy so not to worry, even if u fail in any exam, u can give it once again.u get stipend in that training.

3)posting after training is done within somewhat 10 days and as per the requirement of ssa, u get posting. Generally girls get internal posts that are related with switching section. There are also more sections like Transmission(Optical fibre), broadband, mobile. IT section, Leased circuit and telephone exchange outdoor and also some more.Some ssa ask the topper student their choice of posting and u may get ur desired section or location, but its all depends on ssa admin staff to post u. so even if u comes topper, u may sent to remote location as per requirement.
4)The calculation of ur salary is---
Basic-13600
Current DA-(107.9%)=14670
HRA(lets take 10%, its different accdg to ur region, atmost is 30%)=1360
transport allowance=200( some areas 300)
skill upgradation allowance (2%) = 272
so total gross salary is = 30100
now the deduction will be as follows---
EPF SUBSCRIPTION= 12% of (basic + DA)=3390
professional tax=200 pm (2500 annually)
union subscription if any atleast 25 rs
so total deduction=3620
so in hand salary will be===26480
now about other allowances, u get towel and soap allowance of rs 480 once every year , 600 rs for briefcase every 3 year, medical facility is provided only after submission of bills ( bsnl empanelled hospitals are there), no LTC ( All India ) , only available to ur hometown through 3-tier ac coach, no bonus.
TTA is a diploma based cadre so even if u completed degree or have master degree that is of no use at ur post or for any further increment ( atleast in recent condition)
free service sim connection having 200 rs monthly credited automatically, plus no rental for ur landline connection plus 200 free calls per month plus 300 rs minus for every broadband plan u have taken.
***One more imp thing is that 7th pay commission is not applicable to BSNL as its not come under central govt but is a public sector enterprise, so they have different rules that is why DA also differs...BSNL's 2nd wage revision was on 2007 and next i.e. 3rd wage revision will be in 2017.
after every wage revision or pay commission DA goes to 0 % and central govt DA goes to 0 % in 2006 and rises upto 119% upto today but BSNL's DA rises upto 107.9% from 2007 onwards... Change in DA happens every 3 months in BSNL whereas to that of in central govt , it takes 6 months to change...
5)U may get transfer from one ssa to another or another circle after completion of 5 years of service in that particular ssa. u can change section or location within same ssa after 2 years of service .Girls generally gets easily transfer before 5 years of service on marriage ground.
6) we get national holidays as per central govt + the other leaves are--- 30 Earned Leave that u can max store upto 315+20 half pay leave on medical ground that can be converted to 10 full days + 12 casual leave + 2 restricted holidays for some functions like ganesh chaturthi, raksha bandhan every year that exhaust if u didn't use

***TTA to JTO promotion is done after u clear the exam and its basic criteria is u have to do 5 yrs of service in non-executive group c cadre and must have atleast diploma or B.Sc qualification and also age should not be more than 50...

Hello Sir, I have a question regarding medical fitness examination conducted after bsnl exam. Is there any limit of eye glasses in it? Nothing was mentioned about specifies of medical exam in the advertisement. Now am worried if they reject people if they use eye glasses. My eyesight is around -7 and -7.5.
